The method
Why our parts fit: we publish the measurements.
Plenty of sites will sell you a 3D-printed part that was “reviewed for accuracy” — meaning someone looked at the CAD file. Ours work differently, and the difference is the whole point:
- Measured from a surviving original. Every reproduction starts with caliper measurements of a real part — never eyeballed from photos, never “close enough.” Every critical dimension is published free with its source and confidence. Measure your own part against ours, or buy ours. (The CAD files stay in the workshop.)
- Drafts are labeled drafts. Until a real part has met the calipers, a design is marked In development — visibly, everywhere.
- Materials chosen for where the part lives. PETG for proof prints and shaded interiors; ASA where sun and heat reach. A fit in one material is never assumed to transfer to another — each earns its own confirmation.
- “Fitted on a real car” means exactly that. The badge appears only after the part has been fitted to an actual car and confirmed — car, year, and material on the record. Not simulated. Not implied. Fitted.
- Fits or we remake it free. If your part doesn’t fit, we remake it at no cost — and your measurements make the next one better. That’s not a marketing risk for us; it’s how the catalog improves.
A note on color: most reproduction trim comes in universal black — even when your interior was Blue, Ivory, Gray, or Beige. Our records keep every original color code a part shipped in, so yours can be printed to match. Your Ivory interior can stay Ivory.
